About Cranium Glass

As an architect, I work solely with glass in my studio, creating work that I consider to be non-traditional, small-scale "architecture". I'm fascinated by the properties of light. I create minimalist, highly transparent, multi-layered panels that transform light and the landscape beyond my glass.

The work is carefully structured; the play of light, color and shadow is shimmering and joyous. My focus: distinctive, thoughtful designs, remarkable materials and exceptional craftsmanship.

My commissioned art glass, including doors and windows, can be found in beautiful homes across Louisville. My clients have a wide range of tastes, from traditional to contemporary. Each project is individually designed to fulfill their needs. I consistently exceed my clients’ very high expectations.

I’m proud to be known as a Kentucky artist and craftsman. All of my work is made by hand.

Kentucky’s my home: I grew up in Audubon Park and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Architecture. My wife, Camy Campisano, and I are raising our two daughters, Maggie and Cate, in a fine, old house in the Clifton Heights neighborhood of Louisville. My small, growing studio, Cranium Glass, is located on five acres in eastern Jefferson County.

I’m always glad to sit down with prospective clients in their home or business to discuss a potential project. An extensive list of references can be provided on request.

Glass is priced from $975 [including installation].
